Just War Theory

Topic: Just War Theory

Introduction

Various methods have been used by psychologists to measure human intelligence; some of them based on psychological intelligence theories. Francis Galton was among the first people to develop an intelligence test that used the biometric method to test intelligence using physiological measures. However, it was later discovered that the correlation between human physiology and performance in intelligence tests was minimal. Other psychologists used different methods to attempt to measure the intelligence of a person; some based on the ability to give correct responses to a series of critical questions. They were later to discover that human intelligence exists in different aspects other than just physical or mental ability to answer difficult questions. However, intelligence is a difficult term to define and its meaning has been open to interpretation using different theories. This paper will attempt to critique various definitions and theories of intelligence. It will compare and contrast selected intelligence achievement assessments to compare the goals and purposes of using different tests.
