Higher Education Human Resources Movie Brief on Crash 2005
The movie Crash 2005 is a clear demonstration of the social life in Los Angeles which has effectively been used to portray what goes on in the actual society we live in. it exposes contrasting sides that are found in the human nature through its flashback of the events that led to the car accident that we meet in the beginning of the movie (Haggis, 2005).
As is narrated in the introductory part of the movie, the society is always composed of touches from people although in this particular society, touch is not anywhere and it is due to this reason that they end up brushing against each other. The individuals in the society are behind their racism and prejudice (which are called the metal and glass in the narration) and it is due to those social weaknesses that people can not smoothly relate with each other.
Relevant Social Groups Not Mentioned In the Movie
Although it is presented in a very sketchy manner through the Mexican locksmiths daughter, the education social set up has bee completely ignored in the movie in developing its theme. In a more appropriate dimension, the school administration and structure in the multi-racial state could have been a rich place of relevance to us as educationists. As educationists, it would be of a greater help to observe the behavior of different educational administrators and their performance or productivity efficiency at work based on their social behavior.
